Built Out of Necessity
We owned a 20+ year tech services company running entirely in the Microsoft cloud. Cloud gave us security, reliability, and scalability. But costs had risen to an alarming level. For it to be sustainable, costs needed to drop significantly.
 
The Problem
Cloud providers bill based on capacity, not consumption. If a resource is turned on, the meter runs. It's like paying for your car based on the size of your tank, not the fuel you actually use.
 
Our Solution
We built an automation framework to align capacity with consumption. Features to manage compute size, active VMs, total storage, and more. The result? Cost savings of more than 50% without sacrificing performance.
 
That's when we realized we couldn't keep it to ourselves.
 
Fabrics was born.
